Ouija board is a device believed by some to be used to contact the spirits of the dead, It is operated by two or more users. A planchette is positioned onto the board containing the letters of the alphabet, numbers and also the words 'Yes' and 'No', and then gently resting their fingers on the planchette, the users start by asking a series of questions to try to obtain information.
Eventually the planchette will begin to move, sometimes at amazing speed.
The planchette will come to rest on one letter after another often spelling out messages and other information. An additional participant is needed to record these messages on paper. The most puzzling and fascinating part about the Ouijaboard is how and where this information comes from. Many people have different beliefs ranging from subconscious involuntary movement of the hands and muscles, to actually communicating with the dead. Without having prior knowledge some information gathered in a Ouija board session has been backed up as accurate. It is also important to note that the Ouija board was originally sold as a board game. It was invented in arond 1890.
