Ley lines are believed to be a system or grid of invisible naturally occurring "lines" in and around the earth’s surface. Ley lines can vary in length from only a few miles long to thousands of miles long. Some of these ley lines converge at particular points as they cross one another, Glastonbury is one famous example of this.
Ley lines are part of the earth’s energy system and dowsing rods are used to locate these energy producing Ley lines. Various
ancient sacre sites such as churches, stone circles, holy wells and standing stones etc, are said to be built on top of these ley lines. There does seem to be a connection with reported ghost sightings and paranormal phenomena within
buildings that are built near to or on top of Ley lines.
